Committee of Government Representatives on the Participation of Civil Society and Negotiating Group on Dispute Settlement

Dear Sirs

I am writing to provide an update to the responses given from The Bahamas to the Questionnaire.

The negative responses to alternative forms of dispute resolution, and organisations that specialize in ADR, should now be revised in light of the ADR practice I established at the beginning of 2005 - please refer to website below.

In addition, by The Rules of The Supreme Court (Amendment) Rules 2004, Case Management and ADR is positively encouraged along similar lines to that introduced earlier in the UK.

Regards

Colin A Marshall
