A. Sub-Regional Sectoral Agreements

There are two (2) sub-regional sectoral agreements on telecommunications.

Andean Community (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela) 08/96 Decision 395: “Marco Regulatorio para la Utilización Comercial del Recurso Órbita-Espectro de los Países Miembros con el Establecimiento, Operación y Explotación de Sistemas Satelitales por parte de Empresas Andinas”. 
El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua 04/66 Tratado sobre Telecomunicaciones entre las Republicas de Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala y Honduras 

B. Bilateral Sectoral Agreements

There are three (3) bilateral sectoral agreements and one (1) memorandum of understanding.

Venezuela - USA 11/92 Memorandum of Understanding Regarding Scientific and Technical Cooperation (objective is to establish a program for technical cooperation in the development of telecommunications)
Venezuela - Chile 10/90 Convenio Básico de Cooperación para el Desarrollo de las Telecomunicaciones
