Subject: IV. Transfers

A. Types of Payment

1. Returns
Yes. Each Contracting Party shall guarantee to investors of the other Contracting Party the unrestricted transfer of investments and returns (the capital shall be registered with the national entity responsible, and taxes shall be paid accordingly), in particular, but not exclusively: a) capital and additional sums necessary for the maintenance and development of investments; b) benefits, profits, interests, dividends, royalties and other incomes; c) amortization of external credits; d) proceeds of the sale or the total or partial liquidation of an investment; e) payments arising out of an investment dispute or compensations as provided in Article VI. (Article V (1)).

B. Convertibilty and Exchange Rates

1.Currency
Transfers shall be effected in a convertible currency, in accordance with the exchange rate in effect in the market on the date of transfer and in accordance with the law and regulations of the Contracting Party which has admitted the investment. (Article V (2)).

2. Exchange Rates
Transfers shall be effected at the exchange rate in effect in the market on the date of transfer and in accordance with the law and regulations of the Contracting Party which has admitted the investment. (Article V (2)).
