Training Programme in Multilateral Diplomacy and International Affairs Managemnet

Awareness, orientation and skills training at the United Nations headquarters and in the field:

The training activities in the field of multilateral diplomacy focus on general, specific and at times technical aspects useful for the daily professional performance of a diplomat in a multilateral setting. The subjects on offer have been identified and selected following surveys of training needs and are constantly revised on the basis of participants' assessments of the respective courses. The overall  programme can be subdivided into the following three categories: Skills Training, Orientation Training  and Awareness Training.

• International Law
• International Affairs Management

The training activities at United Nations headquarters are open to members of Permanent missions to the United Nations. The tailor-made training activities will be designed for a pre-defined and specific targeted group which will change from case to case.
