PRESS COMMUNIQUÉ
- The Fifteenth Meeting of the Committee of Government Representatives on the
Participation of Civil Society, took place in Panama from January 23-24, 2002.
Representatives of 16 countries attended. The countries represented were:
Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican
Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, United States, Uruguay and
Venezuela.
- During the meeting, the representatives approved the attached
agenda and discussed the items listed therein.
- The next meeting of the Committee of Government Representatives on the Participation of Civil Society is
scheduled for April 4-5, 2002 in Panama City.
