Fourth Meeting
MIAMI, MARCH 21-22, 2000
PRESS RELEASE
- The Fourth Meeting of the Committee of Government Representatives on
the Participation of Civil Society was held in Miami on March 21 - 22,
2000, with the following 18 countries participating, some of which were
representing their respective sub-regional groups: Argentina, Bahamas,
Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador,
Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and United
States.
- The Agenda approved for discussion is included as Annex I.
- During the meeting, all items on the Agenda were considered.
- The Committee of Government Representatives on the Participation of
Civil Society agreed that its next meeting would be in June, 2000, subject
to TNC approval.
