PRESS COMMUNIQUE
-
The Fifteenth Meeting of the Negotiating Group on Investment (NGIN) was held
in Panama City from March 11 to 13, 2002. The following countries participated
in the meeting: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile,
Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico,
Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, Uruguay and
Venezuela.
- The
agenda approved for discussion is attached as
Annex I.
- The FTAA Secretariat will notify the delegates of the date of the Sixteenth
Meeting of the NGIN, to be set by the TNC at its next meeting in April 2002.
