The fourth meeting of the Negotiating Group on Investment was held in Miami, United States, on 10 and 11 August 1999, with the participation of the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, St. Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

The agenda approved  for discussion is attached hereto as Annex I.

During the meeting all the topics on the Agenda were addressed.
