PRESS COMMUNIQUÉ
- The Twentieth Meeting of the Negotiating Group on Government Procurement
(NGGP) was held in Panama from November 25-26, 2002. The following countries
were in attendance: Argentina, Bahamas, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa
Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua,
Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, Uruguay and
Venezuela.
- The Agenda approved for discussion is attached as
Annex I.
- The meeting considered all of the items on the agenda.
- The Group acknowledged receipt of the civil society contributions
forwarded by the Committee of Government Representatitves on the Participation
of Civil Society to the NGGP.
