The Second Meeting of the Negotiating Group on Competition Policy (NGCP) took
place in the city of Miami, on February 25 and 26, 1999.

- During the meeting the discussions followed the agenda
that is attached. The discussions focused on the possibilities of technical
assistance, the debate on the development of the Work Program of the NGCP, and
the studies that the Tripartite Committee has to carry out, in order to support
the compliance of the mandates of the Group.
- The Third Meeting of the Negotiating Group on Competition Policy shall take place on May 12 and 13, 1999.
